Persian Seder

We're having a guest at our seder who is Persian. We do the traditional matzoh ball soup and brisket menu. I'd like to make at least one dish that is Persian to make our guest feel at home. Any suggestions? I'm particuarly interested in side dishes and charoset. My husband even suggested we could do a rice dish if it is something that is traditional. Thank you!

If you can, make the cake from that article too. It is wonderful and easy.

Is it really easy? I'm not very confident when it comes to baking.

really, really easy. just be gentle when folding in egg whites.
