During (at least) six visits over the past 2 yrs., my dining compaions (as many as 6) and I have never been disappointed. Fin, feather, leather and salads--'ve all been most satisfactory. It's not chic or glitzy (nor does it aim to be), just reliable. A solid B, or a 'par'.

This is all good to know. While I recall The Flaming Torch, I do not recall ever dining there. It just never made it to my radar screen.

Not THAT long ago, there were a few respondents in another thread, who were not fans, but I do not recall any of those offering up a review.

There was a thread, probably in the last 9 mos., and a few offered mini-reviews.

I know it from "way back when," so cannot comment now. In that thread, there were mixed reviews, though I'd say that it ran about 70% against, with 30% for.

Maybe dine, and do a current review in full detail - mini-reviews can be good, but do not often paint the full picture.

I'd say so. It's been more than a year since I've been, but found the food to be excellent. In fact, now that you mention it, I need to get back there.
