Early Sunday dinner downtown?

We subscribe to the LA Phil concert series at Disney Hall on Sunday afternoon. Concerts are usually out by about 4:30pm. We don't mind travelling a bit or waiting until 5:00 or even 5:30pm for something terrific. We love the Water Grill, but are looking for other options nearby. Preferably not Asian...we have excellent Asian near home. Any recommendations?

    Chaya Downtown has a "Wine & Dine" program on Sundays with 1/2-priced wine bottles and a Four-Course Chef's Tasting Menu at $25.00 per person. The menu changes weekly.

    The menu from 02/27 was:
    - 1st - King Salmon Rillette w/wasabi crème fraiche / meyer lemon oil / toasted baguette;
    - 2nd - Organic Farmer's Market Mixed Greens w/black truffle cabernet vinaigrette / shaved piave cheese;
    - 3rd- Roasted Colorado Lamb and Tuscany Giant Beans Ragu w/rosemary lamb jus; and
    - 4th- Mascarpone Tiramisu w/raspberry sauce.

      I believe Drago Centro is now open on Sunday, that would be my first pick. Then Lazy Ox Canteen. Sushi options I would go with Sushi Gen or Sugar Fish. Very casual try Wurstkuche or Nickel Diner's desserts.
