Passable Ramen in Marin?

The Librarian Feb 28, 2011 03:26 PM

Or is that an oxymoron? Are there any places in Marin that have tolerable ramen? I'm not asking for incredible. Any possibilities? And, if so, any advice on what to order where? Thanks!

Would love to find out as well, but I'm guessing we're sparse in this area. In fact, this past weekend, the kids and I drove down from Novato to San Jose to eat ramen at Santouka (we had to run errands as well, but still quite a drive!)

Not a recommendation (because I haven't tried it) but I believe you can get ramen at Matsuyama in Novato. Probably best to call and verify.

Hana Japanese Restaurant in Rohnert Park is in Melaine Wong's top 20. Report is from 2 years ago, though.

The Kakuni Ramen (only one available) still is on their online Lunch menu at the same $12 mentioned in the report.
