St Patrick's Day parade in the Irish Channel. A good chance to get a bit of a Mardi Gras like feel and to hit the good Magazine Street bars and restaurants (and shops).

The French Quarter will have returned to normal (for the FQ) and dining out will be nicer.

yes - that was my thinking (about Mardi Gras and coming down) when I scheduled our time! When is that Parade? I think we might already have left town - oh say it can't be so! We have Sunday Brunch reservations at Commander's so I thought that would be when we'd walk off a bit and hit Magazine Street.

There's not much open on Magazine Street on Sunday's but it's a good day to go to CP.
