Westchester Sunday Brunch for a Large Group
Looking for a place to have brunch with a large group in Westchester, preferably within 20 minutes of White Plains. Must be either a buffet or price fixe to make things more convenient, but still have good food. The group is a mix of picky eaters and foodies, young and old. How would Kittlehouse or X in Congers (X20 is booked) fit the bill? Or any other places you'd recommend? TIA.

Kittle House will totally fit the bill. Their brunch is amazing and they can easily handle a large group.

How are Half Moon's prices--they are not listed on the website?
I LOVE Restaurant X, and have been there with picky eaters--there are so many different choices, that there are enought for the picky eaters (and more than enough for the foodies)...also, champagne is unlimited. The drive is a little more than 20 minutes from White Plains though.-

re: fooodie
There is one seating at X, which starts at 1 o'clock. Items are served one at a time, for example, after being seated, the bread guy comes around. Then the ceasar salad is served. Then fresh fruit. Then maybe a bagel with smoked salmon. Then some eggs benedict....so on and so forth for about 20 different items, including all kinds of sea food, pastas, and meat. After all the savory items have been served, platters of assorted desserts, including cakes, puddings, mousses, creme brulee, ice cream, are put on the table family style. As opposed to a standard buffet, everything is not put out/available at once, dishes are offered one at a time....although champagne/mimosas are constantly replenished!
