Asian lunch in Scottsdale

My friend and I will be visiting the Scottsdale Fashion Square on Wed. and would like a recommendation for lunch. Don't know the area but have a GPS and would be willing to travel 10 to 20 miles or more for a chow worthy rec. She mentioned she doesn't like sushi but I think it's just the raw stuff that she"s not to sure about:O)

Thanks

Malee's Thai Bistro isn't too far away. They're perhaps not groundbreaking, but I've never gone wrong there or sent anyone who was disappointed -- bright fresh flavors, curries and lettuce wraps, lots of basil.

The Thai House on Shea is the most authentic Thai food in the area (I have not yet eaten at Soi 4). Just like the Thai food you would eat in Thailand. The lunch specials, especially the Pad Thai and the Panang curry, are outstanding. The other location in Scottsdale off of FLW and the 101 is also excellent. I've been to Thailand over 20 times and the other Thai restaurants in Metro Phoenix may have a dish or two that are authentic, but they do not match up to The Thai House.

That sounds good. I might be leaning towards Chinese as I think my friend would like that over Thai. I've been to Diamonds before but I don't think that is anywhere in the vicinity.
