Retail COOKED crab needed for TONIGHT
I admit that I cannot eat a crab or lobster I've cooked myself. I also realize that this makes me a rank amateur, scaredy-cat, wimp who shouldn't be posting to Chowhound and who should be relegated to dining at Denny's.
So where's the best place to get cleaned and cracked cooked crab to take home and eat? I'm looking for Oakland and Berkeley locations. Tokyo Fish and Monterey Mkt are both closed today. I hate going to Whole Foods because of their crappy labor practices. The last time I got crab at Berkeley Bowl (main store) it seemed a bit less than fresh.
