Any foodie recommendations near Lake Oconee?. Aside from Ritz Carlton restaurants. Family friendly, family run, southern....etc.

You probably want to repost this on the Southeast board. Atlanta only covers Atlanta and Lake Oconee/Greensboro is about 1.5 hours east of Atlanta on 20 ...

Tuscawilla was good but I also like the places at the Ritz. I haven't found a lot of amazing places there to eat as we mostly cook out when at my friend's place there.

There is a lot of average food in the lake area. We normally don't go to Italian restaurants (preferring something more interesting), but we think the best place in the lake area is Da Corrado. The ravioli are excellent.
