Authentic Southern food in Oxford, Mississippi

I'll be visiting Oxford, Miss., in April and was wondering about restaurants in the town and surrounding region that might be good for BBQ, catfish, fried chicken and other Southern foods. Thanks!

    Mississippi is part of the board called "Central South". SE is just NC, SC, and GA. except Atlanta!

      Go to Ajax for good country food. B's has good BBQ. Go to City Grocery for fine dining. Handy Andy has good BBQ. Lenora's is a great restaurant for fine dining. Phillips's Grocery has good burgers. Taylor Grocery has good catfish and steaks.
