  1. It's become pretty common around the GTA. I'd guess some of the better Danforth green grocers would have it.

    1. T&T & Whole Foods definitely have them.

      1. The Forest Hill Loblaws has it.

        1. They had it at the Don Mills Superstore last week.

OK Thanks. Looks like it will be easy enough to find--now all I have to do is recognize it.

Just bought it at No Frills at Carlaw. It looks like a nubby turnip, beige in colour.

                Carlaw and Gerard?

Yup. If I remember correctly it was near the beets (I may be a bit off, but that's what I think).

Thanks pescatarian. Looked around for it at Carlaw and Gerard and found nothing. So I asked the 3 guys working in the Fruit and Veggie area at the time and they all said they had never heard of Jicama. So I went to T&T on Cherry street and found it there. Made Singapor Slaw with it. Susar has nothing to fear.

                    Thanks for all the help.

No problem. Too bad that the 3 guys working aren't familiar with the products sold in the store, but I just bought it there yesterday morning (and have purchased it there before). Glad you were able to find it at T&T and enjoyed a good slaw!

                        Also, it's at Fiesta Farms.
