Peppercorn Pate - Calgary
Does anyone know where I can get traditional peppercorn pate in Calgary? This is the liver-based pate that is encrusted with crushed peppercorns.
Neither CO Op or Safeway seem to carry it. L'Epicerie has great pate....but not peppercorn.
Suggestions?

SummerSweet makes the best peppercorn pate I've ever had, along with many other varieties. Don't know if or where it is sold in Calgary, but call the company and ask. Please post the store(s) that carry it if there are any here.

I'm pretty sure Janice Beaton used to sell Valbella peppercorn pate, but I don't recall seeing it there lately. Maybe try Sunterra. I believe they carry Valbella as well.

Yes Sunterra carries Valbella...but this is pepper pate, not peppercorn pate. The Valbella has pepper in it and a gellied crust...the one I'm looking for has full peppercorns as a crust and no gel on top.
I used to get Antione's Peppercorn Pate in Toronto at Loblaws or fine food stores but can't seem to find it here. Am I out of luck in Calgary?
