Dining Alone

Please recommend some restaurants that would be good for dining alone for dinner - mexican, tex/mex, or anything really. Perhaps eating at the bar. I will be in the Galleria area & will have a car. I happened to read about Hugo's & was wondering if this would be a good choice. Thanks for help.

    Excellent choice.
Mockingbird Bistro has an awesome bar menu. The best burger in the city plus for $9 w frites and a small cassoulet for $7 maybe. There are other things of course but those are some highlights.
    Dolce Vita for pizza.

Hugo's is a great place to dine alone. They have a nice bar area and you can get the full menu there.

Actually, I eat alone pretty much anywhere. I don't care, if they have good food, I'm going, come hell or high water. LOL.

Haven is another fabulous spot. They have a bar but it tends to fill up. Their outdoor seating is nice in warm weather.

Ohh, another good resto to eat alone is Backstreet. Nice bar area & great food there as well.
