A Mano

Anyone ever been? Looking for a pasta joint in NOLA. Thx

Been 4 or 5 times and only one dud. I've decided it was an off night. Agree about the octopus. They change it often, but it's good every time. Two thumbs up, imo.

A Mano has about 10 pasta dishes on the menu, and I think they all claim to be handmade. It would be a good choice for pasta.

Considerably more than when I was last there. At that time, all were not housemade. In any case, pass on the gnudi.

is it REALLY that tough to go look at their website and view the menu directly? http://www.amanonola.com/menus-3/dinner/

Probably should have specified that I need a GOOD pasta place in NOLA.
A Mano was listed in Bon Appetit as one of the best pastas in US. Just checking.

Went two nights ago, really good grilled octopus app with an entree of tagliatelle with goat ragu. Extensive, broadly priced wine list. Don't think you'd be disappointed.

The food is good but I would not classify it as a pasta joint. As I recall, not alot of pasta dishes, more rustic/ hearty, meat/ragu options. Eleven79 has an extensive menu. The food is good though the pasta I had was not housemade ( my preference). Domenica's pasta is housemade. I love their lasagna bolognese made with fresh spinach pasta.
