Chile Relleno in Toronto?!

I'm all too familiar to the tragedy of Toronto's Mexican food deficiency, but I thought I'd give it a shot and see what you Hounds have to say.
For the last few months I've been on a Chile Relleno search, the best so far that I've had were at Mexitaco at Bloor and Ossington and Latino Emporium in Kensington Market, which faults were bland, canned chipotle sauce and microwaving, respectively.
Any of you folks have any ideas?

    Frida's are stuffed with oaxaca cheese. We had dinner recently. Generally I'm a fan of Frida's, we've had good dinners and brunches. This time around the apps were good, especially the octopus, my mid-rare steak came well done and the veg was bordering on raw, including the potato. What did shine was the black beans. I'm putting this down to it being a friday night and they had some large parties. Still I find where they do best is on simpler more rustic dishes, and, other than the churros, skip dessert.

        Have you tried this? Before kids, I used to frequent the place despite the slowness, but I never really trusted that they would actually come through with an advance order.

          El Sol, years ago, used to make a big thing out of using green Bell peppers in their rellenos.

            Isn't the dish supposed to use poblano peppers?

              Yeah, it is supposed to be poblano. Maybe they wanted to give it some signature-dish flare?

            I've ordered in advance several times and they were def poblanos when we had them two years ago.

                Herb, our visit was about 2004, six-seven years ago. I guess I should have added that I have had chile rellenos with poblanos in Toronto at other places at that time, so I was totally suprised that they had Bells -- and were proud of the fact!
