A year later and I am still looking for places to eat in Mammoth and anything between L.A. and Mammoth. Please let me know your favorites.

En route stop at Astro Burger, NW corner of 395 and Hwy 58. Great breakfasts and some really good looking Mexican options, their huevos rancheros served on a crispy tostada shell was very good, tasty brick red salso to add if you ask for it. Menudo and Pozole available daily.

Lakeshore @ the Tamarack Lodge is excellent! Whitebark @ the Westin Monache is also very good. :)

Thanks so much but most of these are older threads and the restaurants change often there. Does anyone have any recent recs?
