Function Venue for 50 People in May-July need ideas

We are planning my mother’s retirement party and evidently we are looking for May-July and roughly 50 people. They live in Metrowest but people will be coming from North Shore, Boston, South Shore etc. and I’m trying to plan something along the Route 9 stretch (not set in stone) from Framingham to Wellsley

We are looking for something with a decent room, good food but it needs to be a pretty solid value. Most likely a buffet would provide the most value after we swap some things in an out, thinking of doing passed hot appetizers and a stationary cheese/fruit station and a basic open bar. Target (not my $) is $2500-5000 all in.

Yes, I know we are bumping into the heart of wedding season etc………..

Suggestions?

Westford Grille in Westford, a little geographically out of your range but they do have a private room.

Look into Papa Razzi in Wellesley. I went to a retirement party there and it was very nice...separate room, and the food was delicious. Don't know about the price, though. Good luck!
