I'm looking for really simple recipes that I can make for my roommates. I've never cooked before, so it would have to be very basic. We do a lot of chicken dishes, and anything involving vegetables would also be great. Nothing other than chicken or ground beef though when it comes to meat. Thanks!

I'd look at Pioneer Woman. I haven't made many of her recipes, since I tend to go more toward the elaborate, but she's very step-by-step oriented, so could really help you learn what to do.

If you could get your hands on pizza dough, sauce, and cheese, a homemade pizza is a super fun and easy dinner. My roommates and I bake a one every Sunday night. They're almost impossible to screw up, and you can put virtually anything on them, so get creative with what you have!

Mark Bittman has some good easy recipes that you can tweak to get whatever flavours you like.

Stir fries are also very easy (once you've chopped up all the ingredients). So are a lot of egg dishes, like Quick Arugula and Mozzarella Frittata.

For veggies, kale chips are great (just try them - you'll like them!), and so are roasted veggies.
