Brunch/Lunch event for ~35 people west LA

HI! I'm hosting an brunch/lunch event in July for about 35-40 women, ages 30-38. The ideal location is the west-side: santa monica, beverly hills, brentwood, west LA, etc. We are on a budget is about $25 a person for the meal plus a bit more for flowers. Someone recommended Joe's. Do you have any recommendations? THANKS!

you might like the Border Grill on 4th St in Santa Monica - they have an upstairs party room that holds about 35 people and the food is excellent, they're very accommodating and can fit your budget.

I just attended a luncheon at Woo Lae Oak in Beverly Hills. They have a $15 lunch with assorted side dishes (lots), soup, salad and a choice of entree.

Tanzore also in Beverly Hills would put out a beautiful Indian buffet within your budget.

hard to think of a large enough place without getting a private room, which obviously gets pricey.
Literati on Wilshire (the restaurant side, not the cafe) might be able to accommodate that many people.
ditto Tavern in Brentwood.
Napa Valley Grille in Westwood might be another option.

Better stick with brunch, as lunch at Tavern will definitely put you over budget, as a hamburger goes for $18. And double check to make sure they have your reservation, they seem to lose track of larger parties, which happened to my husband's office group.

I don't think you can do Joe's for $25/person, maybe $30. Does this include wine or is it $25 for just food?

is the $25/pp budget supposed to include tip, tax, beverages? or is that just for the food?
tip, tax, and even nonalcoholic beverages can add 40%-50% more.
alcohol will be even more.

Thanks for the info. I should have been more specific. $25 for food and tea/coffee/soda, then more for tax/tip. We didn't want alcohol b/c this can get too expensive. So, probably $30-35/person is ideal. I would consider westwood or even sherman oaks. But beverly hills and west is ideal.
