ISO: Chili threads

I was watching iron chef recently and discovered a new ingredient: Chili threads. I didn't give it much thought, until I saw this same ingredient pop up several times since on several other shows. This got me intrigued.

Any ideas where this can procured in Montreal? I read online that it is used in Korean cuisine, but not exclusively.

If anyone has seen this, or knows where I can get some, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I suggest you give the folks at Chilly Chillies a call and see if they know where you can find them. I couldn't find them listed on their website, but their store is only a short drive from Mtl in Navan, near Ottawa. They are the source of knowledge of all things hot and might be able to steer you in the right direction, or even tell you that they have them in the store, but that they're simply not listed on the website.
