Just noticed Cannelle got a B on their rating, very surpised..place always looks very clean to me.

Ratings don't always have to do with cleanliness or food handling per se. It could be that a sink was a few inches too far away from where it is supposed to be, or something along those lines. I heard on the radio that there is talk of putting some sort of scannable barcode on the signs, so people could scan the code with their smartphones to see the basis of the downgraded letter.

you could read the specifics in the report, and it was pretty consistent problems, not of of the sink kind. It's strange, a restaurant like union sq cafe can get a B and the corner deli that looks fillthy can get an A.
