Eating alone/at bar in South Beach

Hi All!
I'm in South Beach for work and am alone for a few days. Which places would you recommend for great food, where I can feel comfortable eating alone at the bar? Was thinking about BLT Steak, am going to Joe's and probably Meat Market when some colleagues arrive. Staying at 10th and Collins and don't mind a 15-20 min walk.

Thanks!

Definitely Meat Market. I dine solo at the bar often when I return from a business trip. Lots of talent in that place too.

Nobu, Bond St., Clarkes - Nobu and Bond St. can be very trendy on the weekend if you are sensitive to those things. Both have a trendy vibe but they tend to be much less crowded on weekdays.

      BLT should be good

If you can walk a bit further:
Sardinia, Burgers & Beer, Joe Allen, Pubbelly (though the bar chairs are a little low at pubbelly)

EDIT: Forgot the Alibi but it is a hole in the wall -- awesome sandwiches though. Cupcakes are great too.

In town for a few days dining alone, read this thread, and went over to Pubbelly. The barstools are a little low, but don't let that keep you from checking it out. The establishment is hip without being pretentious and the food was terrific. David Chang's porkbelly sliders will always be king for me, but the ones they do were terrific, and the duck ravioli with almonds, pumpkin puree and browned butter would make the trek worthwhile all by their lonesome.
