Chicago Caterers?

  • 8

I just recently moved to the Chicago area and I am looking to have a list of good caterers at my fingertips. I use them very frequently, but do not like to hire anyone without first getting referrals or hearing about them from people that have used them. Its hard to find referrals when you don't know anyone, but this forum has turned out to be a great resource!

So far, I have only one, http://www.corkcatering.com/ that I have been looking for my Easter dinner party. Has anyone heard of them? Can anyone recommend another caterer?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Susan

  1. Are you looking for event caterers or more personal chefs that can prepare a dinner for 20 that you will serve at home?

    1. We have had good meals served by BluePlate and on a smaller scale by J&L.

Thanks, I am going to check them out!

      2. We like Wolfgang Puck the most and have also had good luck with Food For Thought.

Fox and Obel does very nice catering. It's not full-service (i.e., they don't set tables and provide all linen, silver, etc) but deliciousl.

I've had good experiences with both Food for Thought and Catering by Michael's.

          2. You should try D'Absolute Catering.
