You would probably like Herbsaint. And Boucherie, its more of a wine bar, which you might suit you better.

Coquette's bar is fun for solo dining. If you stay in the FQ Mr. B's is nice. I like Emeril's bar the best.

+1 for Coquette. The staff is very friendly there, and I would expect them to make a solo diner very comfortable.

try the food at the bar at MILA, then hit the bar scene in the bar at the same hotel called Bar Uncommon. the bartender chris mcmillan is great. haven't been but the Capdeville bar looks like it has great food and a scene. two other new places i didn't try but looked in to were Feast and Sylvain. check them out on their websites to see if they offer what you are looking for.

My favorite place to eat alone is at the bar at Coop's!

So I ended up going to Coquettes for dinner. Was a bit of a haul from my hotel but the food was amazing. I opted for the 4 couse chef's tasting menue paired with wine. I think the cochon dish I had there may have been one of the best things I ever ate. Today I went to Mr B's for lunch and had the gumbo pasta, veru good as well. I would definately recommend anyone going to Coquettes for diner solo or group. Thanks for the great recomendation

I'm so glad you liked it! It's one of my favorite places in New Orleans.
