Romantic West Village Restaurant REALLY needed

Quiet, well spaced tables, ideally where we can sit side by side, w/ of course great food and service. Would welcome your recommendations.

Most places in the Village don't have well-spaced tables, as a lot of restaurants are crammed into tiny spaces.

My first thought was Le Gigot. Good French food, quiet, and relatively romantic. Not outrageously expensive either.

Le Gigot is a great suggestion.

I had a very romantic dinner at Annisa, which I think fits all of your criteria perfectly. Very intimate, side by side seating, and of course wonderful food. Don't skip the bread pudding!

Just bypass the romance a little and go for the food at Del'Anima.
