Kelly's Roast Beef in Revere vs other locations
I ate at Kelly's Roast Beef in Revere several years ago, and remember liking it (I had fried clams), but haven't been back since. I'm curious about how the food at the original location compares to other branches (Medford, Allston, etc). Are there noticeable differences in terms of the food quality between Revere and elsewhere?
I just read this thread, and people seem to indicate that the food is pretty comparable at all locations....
Is this still the case?
I find the food quality roughly similar at all of them, but Revere is hands down the winner for atmosphere. The others are just weirdly sterile.
Based solely on the fried clams, I'd rank them:
Revere, Saugus, Medford, Danvers, then Natick, with Natick a fairly big step down from the others, and extra credit to Revere for atmosphere and nostalgia. (Haven't been to the Allston site.)
