Dunedin good places to eat ?

  • 2

Hi. I'm new and myself and family will be visiting from the UK to Dunedin for 7 nights in August this year and would like to know where are the nicest places to eat that will give us good value for money for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 15 and 14?
We are staying at Nautical Landings. Are there any good eateries within walking distance from where we are staying?
Thanx, Lin

  1. Walt's Seasonal Cuisine is outstanding and makes good use of local ingredients. You should absolutely make reservations for Fri or Sat night for the Cirque style gymnastic show at Casa Tina (as well as some of the best margaritas and Mexican food in the area.) Sea Sea Riders has terrific fresh Florida seafood prepared in imaginative ways. Eli's BBQ is only open a few days a week, but has great authentic 'que at very reasonable prices. Enjoy you trip!

    1. Don't know how close you are to Main St, in Dunedin. Downtown is a great place to walk around and look in the shops and plenty of restaurants. There are quite a few good restaurants in downtown Dunedin. Kelly's is great for breakfast and lunch. Casa Tina really good Mexican food and as laboneme says, great margaritas. The Living Room good for lunch and dinner. Will second the Walt's recommendation, have enjoyed some great meals there.
