Krakow- Great Restaurants in the Old Town and Kazimierz

  • 1

I will be visiting Krakow in April and need some suggestions on good restaurants to eat in Krakow. I would like to try modern polish food as well as traditional Polish food. I am thinking of getting a reservation at Cul-de-Sac in the Hotel Grodek. Also if you have suggestions on where to eat in Kazimierz that would be great, I am also interested in going to interesting clubs, cafes, bars, etc.. Since I don't speak Polish, musical entertainment would be good too but Caberets wouldn't work unless they were in English.
Thanks.

  1. Yes! We'll be there in April too, although in our case entertainment (and menus) need not be in English. Not because we speak Polish (we don't!) but because that's how we roll!

Give us your tips! What are your favorite off-the-beaten-path joints? Your favorite milk bar? Your favorite street food vendor? Your favorite sausage-under-the-bridge? We'll be staying near the Bazylika Mariacka.

Also looking forward to visiting the grave of my great-great-great-etc-grandfather, the Remu. Can't you see the resemblance?
