rehearsal dinner in berkshires - looking for a biergarten (german beer garden) vibe

Hi- My fiancee and I are getting married in the Berkshires (~ 20 minutes East of Great Barrington) and we are looking for a venue to hold a rehearsal dinner for at least 50 guests. We are really hoping to get a "beers'n bratwurst" type spread (fresh pretzels, saurkraut, and a variety of high quality sausages a plus), so a beer garden would be ideal. We are also considering an outdoor/park location with a pavillion of some sort in case of rain.

We're looking for good food, but casual & inexpensive if possible.

Please let us know if you have any ideas.

I don't have any suggestions for a venue, but if you are going to go with an outside caterer I recommend you visiting Maria's European Delights in Great Barrington,. Wonderful, fresh huge assortment of every kind of Polish and German sausage, salads, sauerkrauts, and all the trimmings. ( and they LOVE to give out samples!)
I don't know if they do catering but I'm sure they know all he other players in this area.
    Good luck!

Many of the small towns in the Berkshire area have outdoor "pavilions" that belong to the VFW or the fire dept., etc... that may be rented. You could then hire a caterer to handle the food and drink. This way you get exactly what you are looking for. In regards to a place that is or has a beer garden, that may be a tough call.
