Primavera is closed, It's Flying Fish now
So for those who may not know yet...PRIMAVERA is closed.
But a wonderful exciting new place has opened (same owner)
Flying Fish!
I usually will not go to a new restaurant for at least a month or maybe longer afteropening so they can get the kinks out, we since my fisherman husband sold them a beautiful blue fin tuna we had to go tonight.
The decore is so different than what Primavera was like; the back wall where the mirror was is now a wall of water that reflects on the ceiling and the display cases, making it light and airy.
The display cases houses maine lobster, bermuda lobster, clams, oysters and of course when available fresh bermuda fish.
We started with the fresh blue fin and hamachi ...so fresh and so wonderful we ordered another plate! mind you we were there for the blue fin !
Then on to the sizzler plate, shrimp, scallops, calamari, crab claws, fresh local wahoo and blue fin piled high on a cast iron skillet and right before you are ready to dive into it, they ask you to hold your napkin up and once you do they drizzle an herbed oil over the skillet and seafood. Each item was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. The tuna was cooked med rare and melted in my mouth!!
I would highly recommend anyone to go out and check them out!
I wish them the best and will be going back real soon!
