Best non-frozen margarita in Manhattan?

All in the title. I did a search and didn't find anything.

GO!

when the bar is not overly crowded and a bartender can take his/her time, Blue Smoke's blood orange margarita is great. Easy to duplicate at home, too.

Yes! Thanks, Kathryn. (Today is National Margarita Day, but they've been on my mind for the past week, hence the post.)

TOLOACHE makes a great one. I've also had good ones at Suenos but not for some time.

Second Mayahuel, though it'd be a shame to just order a classic with so many other creative cocktails on the menu.

Barrio Chino makes a solid one as well, and their two spicy ones - lime/jalapeno and grapefruit/habanero - are very well balanced.

Toloache and Crema both have good ones as well.

Maz Mezcal. I go there all the time. Their bar men have been working there for years and they have the margaritas down to an art. Delicious!

Mayahuel has a very good margarita. Friends like the grapefruit habanero one at Barrio Chino, but I assume you're looking for a classic one: high quality tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime (not sour mix), served up or on the rocks.

Yep, classic on the rocks preferably. (Although grapefruit habanero does sound amazing.)
