Private Room, 30-40 people, West Hollywood, a Friday night, good for a mixed bunch inc non-meat eaters

Hi All,

Ridiculously specific I know but better to give too much information rather than too little.

I'm hoping someone out there might be able to help me out with a suggestion for a restaurant for a work thing (but it's a very relaxed, family-like company) for 30-40, on a Friday night in W Hollywood.

There will be vegetarians present but fish is fine.

Ideally it would be somewhere that could provide a set menu (maybe 2 choices for main) + wine at a fixed price per head.

It's a fairly special occasion, but doesn't need to be super glam.

Thank you!

Per person $ limit or range?

Apologies, as Servorg so rightly pointed out, I forgot to specify a price range/limit.

I've never been to LA, and never arranged a group meal in the USA so I really don't know what is appropriate.

If I said 50-75 a head ... is that high level or low?

You should be able to do what you want in that cost range. It sounds like you could go higher if need be, which is always a good thing. It gives you more flexibility. One place I would check with (as long as you aren't having more than 40 guests - because I think that's their max for the private room) is Cecconi's.

I don't know if it fits your price requirements as I've only been there as a guest, but Dominic's is pretty fine.
I'm not sure if it is exactly in West Hollywood, though.

This is more Hollywood area, but maybe check out Marino. Recently organized my friend's 40th birthday party there and it was perfect. The private room could easily accommodate 30 people and it will be within your budget. See my review here:

Other places that come to mind: RH, Comme Ca, La Boheme. They all list they have private rooms - just not sure how many people they can accommodate.

Osteria Mozza? Private room can accomodate 40.

Their bar fixed price menu has an appetizer, first course (pasta,) dessert, and glass of wine for $35! So your price range should work.

Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful suggestions. The company director has now decided to hold the dinner at his rented villa so I won't be needing the restaurant. Still, I'll keep all the recommendations on file!
