Restaurant in Montreal-Nord

I have an extremely important business lunch next week where I want to take two key customers to lunch near their office in Montreal North, near Henri-Bourassa and Langelier. It's not a part of the city that I know at all. Can anyone recommend a quality restaurant within a 10 or 15 minute drive?

    Ever heard of Gallo Nero? Good homestyle cooking, 5138 Jarry near Lacordaire.

      I've never been, but a friend of mine swears by Di Menna (Jarry and Langelier I believe).

      Maybe more family style than business fancy, but considering the lack of options, it may do the job (if they work in Montreal-North, they probably know what they have to deal with).

        The meeting was delayed but we finally went to Di Menna and it was perfect. Unusually quiet for a Friday lunch, there were perhaps 3 or 4 tables occupied. White tablecloths, comfy chairs. We sat in front of a lovely fire, and it was quiet and elegant. Food was well prepared-traditional old-style Italian fare. Service was excellent, with a good and not-overpriced wine recommendation.
        It was just what I was looking for. Thanks for the recommendation!

        I know that next to milano on the right side there's an italian restaurant that is more upscale with service called AL PORTO 5158 rue Jarry E, Saint-Léonard, QC, H1R1Y4.

        If you invite a few of us we can even give you an honest critic ;

          I would probably not go to Phuket; it wasn't impressive (barely passable) foodwise the one and only time I went but it is quiet if that's required for the business lunch.

            I had went once to Phuket about 4 years ago and at the time I thought it was quite good. I never went back because it's so far. Too bad if it has gone downhill.

            Maybe le St-Urbain?

              So far, we haven't come up with anything that really helps. Le St. Urbain is great, but it is too far away. I really need somewhere that is not more than a 10 or 15 minute drive, and a little more dignified or upscale than Milano, even if they do make great subs.
              Any other ideas out there?

                Maybe Dimenna? I'm just throwing this out there.

              If it's not to formal take them to café Milano for a verry good italian sub with expresso. But you order at the counter and they bring you your order to that table,

                Il Ritrovo on Fleury near St-Michel for genuine Italian food. Not a high-end posh place, just a traditional resto.
