Where is the best place to buy Halal meats and mediterranean spices in N Houston??

I have found several great restaurants in the Spring/Klein, Tomball area, but have only found one that had a market, Zumani, and the market was not impressive. Love the beef/lamb shawarma though! Anyon know where can I buy Halal meats and spices in N Houston?

There is a new place, just opened. It's at the intersection of Spring Cypress & Old Louetta Rd...not sure of the name though. It's in the same center as 'on the rox' sports bar. I have not been able to check it out yet.

That is Zamani. The market is not impress, but the shawarma's are excellent!

It is not Zamani. Zamani is at the corner of LOUETTA RD. and Old Louetta. If you drive from that restaurant all the way down Old Louettta, past the Mosque, you will hit Spring Cypress Rd. It is at *that* intersection, as I said above.

Down in my part of town (SW) Halal Meat Markets are very common.

forgot to mention that the HEB in Pearland sells a brand of halal chicken which is far better than the regular brand of chicken they sell.

Have you been to Phoenicia? There are also halal butchers on Hillcroft - Jerusalem Meat Market is a big one.

I read about Phoenicia on other posts, but it is too far from me. Guess if it is the best I might just have to make the trip.
