Nice Dinner Downtown

Hello all -- looking for recs for early-ish (5-6 PM) but romantic Friday dinner in downtown LA in the general vicinity of Metro Center-7th Street Red Line station (around 7 th & Hope). Something a little quieter & more intimate than Bottega Louie.

    J Restaurant and Lounge on Olive St., in between 11th & 12th! Very romantic, intimate setting and patio seating with skyline views. Only a few blocks from the metro and LA Live. www.jloungela.com.

      For romantic and close to the 7th St. red line station I would think that Cicada would be a good choice. Now this is a restaurant whose ambiance overshadows their food (just to be upfront about it) but they do begin dinner service at 5:30 PM on weekdays and it will definitely wow you with its romantic look.
