Egg Whites in Cake?

Howdy, kids. Being ridiculously pregnant, I'm craving sweet and have a box of Betty Crocker something or other cake mix in the pantry (yes, I know, but I'm not feeling like baking one from scratch right now, even though it would taste better). I have no eggs in the house other than a carton off egg whites. Can I make a passable cake with the whites only? As you can tell, I'm no baker.

Thanks a bunch. All replies are appreciated.

Cake came out pretty good, all things considered. Thanks a bunch!

Add a tbsp or two of mayonnaise (which is, after all, egg yolks and oil) to the egg whites make up the fat difference.

Yes, you can use the egg whites but the cake may (or may not) have a slight consistancy issue. It will taste great though!

If you are using a cake mix, it will be very forgiving given that they already have emulsifiers in there.
