gulf coast night out

We are heading out this weekend with friends for a night out along the gulf coast. We are in Ocean Springs but are willing to go as far as Gulfport. Looking for something a bit festive with really great food. Seafood or steaks or something a bit ethnic is great…the only thing off limits is the casinos. Any and all suggestions are welcome. It's not seafood/steaks/ethnic, but no trip to Ocean Springs is complete without a visit to The Shed BBQ on Hwy 57. It's AMAZING BBQ in a funky little place made almost entirely of salvaged scraps.

For steaks, most folks go to the Blowfly Inn in Gulfport; it's a locals kind of place. Not a lot of great atmosphere as far as the decor goes, but they have an amazing cooler or great homemade desserts.

Blowfly does have a great view though! White Cap has been pretty good lately too!
