I'll be in the Boston area for a few days 3/1-3/4 - flying in/out of Logan, working & staying in Westborough - looking for something yummy - $ is not a consideration. Would love to get recommendations for Tuesday night in Boston...and then the burbs for Wednesday & Thursday. Looking for your favorites - don't worry about what I prefer - I have to try the local recommendations. Thanks!

Yes, Oga's is pretty near you and has excellent sushi -- sit at the sushi bar and put yourself in their hands and you won't be sorry. Also near Westborough is Tomasso Trattoria, about which I have heard good things although I have not been there. http://www.tomassotrattoria.com/

In town you have some good recs, I would also throw in Ten Tables in Cambridge for either their tasting menu ($43) or vegetarian tasting menu ($30). I recently was there with friends and we got both and agreed that both were outstanding (as well as great value) but the veggie one (amazingly) was the more interesting.

in Wellesley you've got Blue Ginger, Ming Tsai's place.

in town, on the higher end, ive had fantastic meals at:
Rendezvous in Central Sq, Cambridge - menu changes. their deconstructed chowder is delish. in house charcuterie.
Craigie on Main, also Central Sq. Chef is Tony Maws. menu also changes. sashimi salad is divine, good burger, and pig pig pig!
O Ya - high end sushi by South Station, Boston
East Coast Grill - seafood Inman Sq, Cambridge - oysters, seafood, BBQ. and schlesinger likes his heat too. Funky casual atmosphere.

Hamersley's Bistro in the South End is a Boston institution. Chef-owned and operated for about 25+ years. Believe it or not, their signature dish is roast chicken, and it is very good. But, there is much more to choose from, too.
