We have really enjoyed our visits to Spring and Vine. As it has gotten popular, reservations are a must on weekends. There have been a few times when we felt as if the kitchen hasn't handled the crowds so well: a few inordinate waits between starters and mains. But the quality of the food is excellent. And, it is BYO.

re: Tasty Duck
ditto.. many of philly's gastropubs have vegan options - in addition to the Royal Tavern, the new Khyber Pass Pub (same owners) has vegan sandwiches and sides, and the South Philly Tap Room has several vegetarian (not sure about vegan) options. the POPE has seitan as a meat option on a few things, but overall their food is not as good.

The Vegan hoagie at South Philly Tap Room is really good. They always have at least one seasonal vegetable dish on special, and their salads are good and can be made vegan.
Cantina (two locations), again by the owners of Royal/Khyber, has good vegan options and all of their places carry vegan desserts.

It isn't Bucks County, but there are several places between 46th and 50th on Baltimore Ave in West Philly, including a coffee shop on 50th and Baltimore, a restaurant on 47th and Baltimore, and a deli on 46th, right off Baltimore. Don't have the names right now, but will not them next time I walk by.

Blue Sage in North Wales (MontCo, but close to parts of Bucks).
Sping & Vine in New Hope. For Center City Philly:
http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/740672A bit closer to Bucks, in NoLibs/Fishtown there are lots of options. One Shot Coffee always has a lot of vegan goodies, Johnny Brenda's & Standard Tap (gastropubs) have good vegan options. More up that way I'm sure.
