Baltimore SMOKED Brisket

Ok locals where do I go? Pit BBQ don't count.

i've had many a great brisket sandwich at andy nelson's.
i've eaten there a good 50-60 times over the years, and i think i had a mediocre meal there maybe 3 or 4 times.
    the rest have been great.
one of the only places in the area that represent a few different regional bbq styles under one roof.
if you want any more authentic than that, you'll need to bust out a smoker or big green egg and cook it yourself.

Four stars for the brisket. The pork offerings I was not impressed at all, but really great brisket.

Andy Nelsons is awful in terms of food quality. How it stays in business is beyond me. Dry/Tough Meats. Items sit under heat lamps too long. Burnt foods

I have never had dried or burnt food at Andy's. Even the chicken has been moist and delicious.

doesn't count unless you are inviting us... however, I'd love the details on how you prepared it. Final temp of meat would be nice.

It wasn't me who said Neopols, and no, that's not something they would do. Andy Nelson's definitely does do it though.

I haven't seen brisket at Neopol, but I know that they only do some items for special occasion or special order. Call them.

Yep. The person who mentioned it said they have it "on occasion".

Brisket on occasion - always lots of other great choices - the REQUIRED stop for smoked fun is Neopol at the Belvedere market. They could smoke a shoe and I 'd eat it.
