Paging Sturmi - near the Volksoper,Vienna

Have been following your recent posts - looking forward to putting some recommendations to the taste test. Thank you in advance! But I have a specific request. We'll be in Wien from the 17th to the 22nd of February. What is a good restaurant near the Volksoper - possibly on a Monday? Vielen dank.

A few steps from the Volksoper is Cafe Weimar, a old-fashioned Viennese Kaffeehaus open daily until midnight, and offering Viennese snacks and standards such as Wiener Schnitzel or boiled beef.

IMHO this is the best you can get after the Volksoper, but get a table reservation !

Heartily second the recommendation for Cafe Weimar after the Volksoper. There is very nice live piano music in the evenings there in addition to good traditional food.
