self cleaning oven disaster, need help!
I have a pretty dated maytag electric oven. it's not mine as it belongs to the place we rent. i decided to tryout the self cleaning function and now left with this dusty coating all over the interior which doesn't want to seem to come off no matter what i do. is there a way to get this off?
the big factor that probably caused this is that i stopped the cleaning when there was 40 minutes left in the cycle. it smelled up the place so badly i just couldn't deal so turned it off. do i need to perhaps self clean again? i don't have the instructions and can't seem to find anything online.

First, I would call Maytag's 800 number and ask them for help. If that does not work then I would clean it again. When you do so, open all the windows and put any exhaust fans on. Once it is finished cleaning a paper towel should work to remove the dust. Most self cleaning ovens reach a high temperature and burn off the dirt inside the oven. Good Luck!
