Help : Off-line store for Villaware Waffle maker in NY

ihchang Feb 13, 2011 06:18 PM

First, I feel sorry for not being good at english, I'm a big fan of making own waffle.

I've stayed in NY for 2 weeks and I'm going to back to my country, South Korea, tomorrow.

I tried to buy a normal Villaware waffle maker(not a reverse-model) visiting every hardware store I know(Bed bath & beyond and macy's, etc) I couldn't find that.

Please help me to buy before I leave America.

According to the reviews on Amazon, the manufacture of these waffle makers is very inconsistent. However Bed Bath and Beyond has the Villaware flip on its website for $79. You have to ask the store manager, because they do carry it. If it isn't in stock at any of the NY stores, they will order it for you and ship it to you directly.

Villaware went down the toilet since they are now owned by the company that owns sunbeam, oster and what not.
Cucina Pro now sells there old style wafflers that they had good luck with.

I got mine from crate & barrel, maybe check there? or if you're in the city try calling broadway panhandler.
