Glowbal Restaurants

We will be in Vancouver this summer and I have started my homework on places to eat. The Glowbal group has several restaurants including two Italian choices that sound interesting. Can anyone comment generally about Italian Kitchen, Trattoria, and Sanafir.

Does anyone have details/info that Glowbal is taking over Town Hall on Alberni St.? If so, anyone know what kind of restaurant this one will be?

While I am like many on this board, not a fan of Glowbal's group of restaurant. I do dine here often enough over the years to acknowledge that they do try to improve their brand. I have noticed they do make improvements when needed and hired quality individuals to help manage and run their restaurants.
They do suffer from consistency issues from a staffing level and food quality as I imagine there is quite a high turnover of employee's evident is the times I have been to their restaurants. There a few items that I enjoy at their restaurants but find the preparations varies often. They do have a solid clientele that may not solely based their dining option on the basis on food quality.
I personally prefer Coast and Glowbal over the three places you suggested. Search the individual restaurants on here and you will find the comments you seek.

I am in the same boat; I often find myself at Glowbal restaurants despite not having chosen to eat at them. I definitely like Coast the most by a country mile, though it's more of a steakhouse than an Italian restaurant.

Well, if you end up going to any of the Glowbal restaurants don't forget that Costco sells the $100 GC at a lesser price. But I think you may have already known that.

Ate at Sanafir once, found their concept of 'trios' interesting but on on each plate considered one to be good (if scoring numerically, maybe 7/10), one OK (4 or 5/10), and one barely edible (1/10). Wouldn't return.
