This is a one of the true finds in Sarasota. For a very reasonable price I had a dinner party for 3 of steamers, done to perfection and three 2 lb lobsters that were so sweet and tender that I thought I was back in Maine on the ocean. Everything was ready for my pick up and the best part of all was that I could really get into eating my lobster at home because I didn't have to look too polite and wear one of those stupid bibs.....If you are a lobster lover skip everything else and go to Boothbay Harbor Lobster direct.

The Lobster rool is great also........If you ask they will not "assemble" it if you are not going to eat it right away. Excellent party idea to get the ingredients, including roll, lobster meat ,(portioned in serving size), etc and assemble it at your convenience when you are ready to serve it.

Just heard that they will be selling Stephanie's Signature Crab Cakes! These crab cakes are fresh from Maine, made with organic ingredients, and delicious!!! Can't wait to get some!!!

So is Lotsa Lobster on 41 south of Central Sarasota Pkwy. A very nice young couple run it, and the fish is always fresh and wonderful. They opened last year, and seem to be doing well. Plus, unlike Fish direct there is lots of parking.

Bought steamer clams at Lotsa lob last week, 30% were dead and had to throw those away. My first time there.
