Good Bakery

Does anyone know where to get good black and white cakes? It's not really a cake but rather a cake cookie with half chocolate and half vanilla icing. Have tried several places but haven't been able to find really good ones.

Try Costco! I've never had black and white cookies as good as the ones at Barney Greengrass or Ess-A-Bagel in New York, but the ones I've found at Costco (in Orlando) are made in New York, and they're the best I've had in Florida.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.....................although I'll have to join Costco to shop there. It might be worth it.

An area of interest would be helpful since this board actually covers Miami to north Palm Beach county.

publix has mediocre black and white cookies, they look pretty good at Grandpa's Bakery in Dania... don't get them at Lester's Diner. I had the worst B&W Cookie I've ever had there. Also, Flakowitz in Boca. Look for your local jewish deli and you're likely to find them. ask for black & white cookies. They are cake-like but they're called cookies.
