Great Eggplant Parmesan

Craving great eggplant parm. Prefer eggpalnt slices to baked, rather than fried. Any Manhattan location, any price, any ambience. OK if it's on the menu as an app, entree, or side -- but not looking for a sandwich. Thanks!

The eggplant parmesan at Bar Pitti in the West Village is excellent and (Tuscan) authentic. It's a special, but the have it almost all the time.

I have no clue as to whether the slices are baked or fried, but the eggplant Parmesan at Campanile is seriously delicious.

Have you had their "Gnocchi 4 Magi"?

No, I've not had the gnocchi. We haven't been to Campanile in quite a while.
