Parsippany Dinner

Looking for a great place to eat out tonight. We are on a tight budget and want to send from $15 to $20s tops for each person. We are open to all kinds of food to and are open to trying anything new. We will staying at the Hilton so something near there would be great. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!

  1. Eccola on Route 46 in Parsippany is very good......check out their prix fix lunches. For very memorable pizza, check out the famous Resevoir Tavern. Enjoy your stay!

While these are both nice places, very popular with loyal followings....I do not think they will meet the price range requested for by the OP.....even if just ordering pizza and salad @ The Reservoir with the RT, dinner on a Saturday Night......only if you want an excruciating long wait. I would say the same is true for the nearby Columbia Inn

I think the OP needs to consider something like Chinese or Indian options in the area. If Italian is preferred...although I have never been, there's a place in East Hanover about 10-15 minutes down Route 10 that's very popular, no doubt due to the inexpensive concept of the menu pricing. All entrees are $9.95. However, be forewarned .......I have on good authority from a friend who is a friend of the owner.......the veal is actually pork.

    2. For that money, Reservoir Tavern in Boonton and get the pizza or pasta. With no appetizers or dessert that will keep you under $20. Be prepared to wait though.

If you like Thai, Thai Ping in Boonton has entrees starting at $10 going to about $18.

For Mexican, try Chili Willies in Boonton. It's inexoensive.
