Seems to be the hottest thing on St Georges Terrace at the moment - fully booked on a Thursday night. The space is divided into two, a bar area at the front of the Terrace and a seated area at the back. There is also a smallish outdoor space at the side.
The bar is quite wine-heavy and it obviously aspires to wine bar status, which it will never have on the Terrace. Menu is shortish and highlights their steaks, which were pretty good. Sides are additional. Service was quite good if a little under pressure (we were in the bar area, which converts into restaurant around 7) with one person serving all tables. That said, it was efficient and we got what we ordered which is a plus in Perth. All steaks were done as requested.
Dessert was a nice bonus - all were pretty good including a superb pear tarte tatin cooked to order.
Its a bit pricey, but not unexpected given the location. Perth is a bit weak on the steak front and this is a good addition to the city, but if I really wanted steak I'd be out to Burswood.
