Is the Royce worth it? (Langham, Pasadena)

The Oracle Feb 11, 2011 08:11 AM

I'm looking for a dinner spot to take a friend for her b'day. Somewhere around the Pasadena environs would be great.

She's vegetarian.

The Royce came to mind, and I'm wondering what the 'hound take on it is. I searched and didn't see any reviews...

Other casual spots she enjoys for dinner: Briganti, Gale's, Malbec

Maybe Drago Centro would be the place to take her... haven't been there yet.

Edit: Assuming, of course, they could do a vegetarian course for her - the online menu, is very meat/seafood centric.

I haven't eaten at the restaurant, but I do know that since their re-opening, there is a full vegetarian tasting menu if you ask for it.
